Event Routes
The majority of events of the 70th Edison Festival of Light including Edison's Day of Discovery,
Edison's Light Up the Town and Crafts of the River are presented in Downtown Fort Myers along Edwards
Drive between Hendry and Monroe Streets in beautiful Centennial Park along the
Calossahatchee River.
Access to downtown Ft. Myers is easy from either 1-75 or US Hwy 41.
- From 1-75 take Exit 136, Colonial Blvd., west to US 41. Turn right and follow the signs to the Historic District.
- From US Hwy 41: From the north bridge take the downtown exit to First Street. Arriving from the South follow the signs to the Historic District. Arriving from the south follow the signs to the Historic District.
- Parking is available throughout downtown - look for the colorful signs to lead you to the parking lots and garages.
