“GEORGE M!” THE STORY OF AMERICA’S FIRST SHOW BUSINESS MEGA-STAR COMES
TO BROADWAY PALM!
This fast-paced and upbeat musical depicts the life of George M. Cohan,
from Vaudeville to Broadway! George M! follows the
first giant of American musical theatre, George M. Cohan, over a
60-year period from his childhood on the vaudeville circuit with his
family as "The Four Cohans", to New York where he starts his 25 year
complete control of the Broadway stage. The unforgettable tunes
that are now part of the American musical landscape include Give My
Regards to Broadway, Over There, You’re a Grand Old Flag and
Yankee Doodle Dandy. This toe-tapping musical classic is great for
the entire family!

This captivating and timeless treasure of wills, wits and wisdom has
been sweeping audiences away for over 60 years. The King
and I tells the story of a young widow who travels to Siam to
tutor the King’s children where she encounters an unfamiliar world of
an exotic land of grand beauty and rigid traditions. As the King
decides how to bring his country into a new age, he and Anna begin to
see beyond traditions and prejudices into what makes people special and
what makes a man a true king. The memorable score includes
Getting to Know You, Shall We Dance?, I Whistle A Happy Tune and
Hello, Young Lovers.
Broadway Palm performances
are Tuesday through Sunday evenings with selected matinees. Ticket
prices range from $27 to $53 with group discounts available for parties

Registered Non-Profit organizations residing in Southwest
Florida have the opportunity to participate in the Edison Festival of
Light as Sanctioned Events.
Eligibility includes the following:
1) The Event must related to Thomas Alva Edison and his life of
achievements and provide entertainment value to the Edison Festival of
Light. The events must take place in January or February of 2010.
2) Descriptions should provide a review of goals and objectives of the
organization and how the event relates to Mr. Edison's science,
invention and entertainment works.
3) A fee of $500 is paid and a Certificate of Insurance is provided to
the Edison Festival of Light with agreed to sanctioned events receiving
the following benefits.
· Listing in the Edison Festival of Light Program of Events and Calendar
of Events · Listing in The 2010 The News-Press Insert
· Listing on Edison Festival Website under Sanctioned Events Section
-1,0900,000 visits in 2007-08
· Referrals to your event by telephone and written communication in
public relations materials.
· Confirmation that your event can use the following listing - "Official
Sanctioned Event of the Edison Festival of Light, Inc"
