Grand Parade
A Broadcast of the
2008 Grand Parade will be on Wednesday (2/20) from
8:00pm-10:00pm and this Saturday (2/23) from 8:00pm-10:00pm on
WNFM-MyTV8 (Comcast Cable channel 8).
Time: 7:00pm
Date: Saturday, February 21, 2009
Location: Downtown Fort Myers River District
The Grand Parade is a two-hour extravaganza featuring national & local marching bands, floats, local government and law enforcement officials, a famous Grand Marshall and more. The parade brings the entire Southwest Florida community out in celebration of the life and achievements of our local winter resident, Thomas Edison. This event is free to the public.

Parade Participants
- A drivers meeting will be held at the
Festival Office, 1300 Hendry Street, on Thursday, February 19th at
7pm. This is a very important meeting about the staging of the
Grand Parade, click here to download the current staging map that is
to be used only as a guide, and subject to change.
