The Edison Festival of Light 5K Run presented by Fowler White Boggs Saturday, February 21, 2009 Time: Championship Race 5:45 PM Location: Downtown Fort Myers Weather Average: Low - 55° High - 77° Click here to view the 5K Map. Click here to download 5K Application. Scoring: AMB 'Chip' Transponder All participants are required to pick up their 'Chip' on race day. Participants must have their race number to pick up your 'Chip', and may only pick up their own 'Chip'. Any participant who does not wear the AMB 'Chip' Transponder (Champion Chips will not work) will not be scored as part of the results. Please come early so you do not miss the start of the race because you have failed to pick up your 'Chip'. ALL 'CHIPS' MUST BE RETURNED TO THE VOLUNTEERS AFTER YOU CROSS THE FINISH LINE. LOST CHIPS WILL COST THE PARTICIPANT $80.00. Safety: There will be police and fire rescue available in case of any medical emergency during the race. Immediately STOP RUNNING if you feel ill and seek help at a water station. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all runners and walkers, the course is restricted. ALL PETS, SKATEBOARDS, BICYCLES, ROLLER and IN-LINE SKATES ARE PROHIBITED!! Applications are available for pick up at: Edison Festival of Light office, Downtown Ft.
